Find out more about the framework The University’s Framework for Information Governance provides a holistic view of the University’s approach to information governance. It was approved by University Executive in January 2025. Document Information Governance Framework (478.08 KB / PDF) The Framework pulls together and describes the:overarching governance and management arrangements the University has in place to ensure the Framework is effective and fit for purpose;key policies and standards which ensure the University fulfils its legal obligations;individual, but inter-related and inter-connected, activities and services which support the information lifecycle;underpinning training that is available to staff to ensure they are aware of and understand their responsibilities when requesting, receiving,creating, using, storing and disposing of University information; andunderpinning, and cross-cutting arrangements in place to report and manage information-related risks.
