Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

A Memorandum of Understanding is a non-legally binding document which expresses an intention to cooperate with another organisation but does not commit the University to a specific collaborative programme.

A commitment to a specific activity is the subject of a separate agreement (MoA).

All forms of international collaborative activity must have an MoU in place before an MoA is developed. For further information about developing an MoU and for the template MoU, please see Wiki  or contact Edinburgh Global.
